Just Like Christmas?

Just like Christmas? Maybe sad but true. After a weekend of excitement and perhaps a little worry, waiting for my home inspection report, it came through late on Sunday night.

I was convinced it would arrive Friday as soon as it was done, but spent the entire weekend checking my email.  With me working on a ship Internet is not great, I woke up for work, checked my e mail and there it was.  I felt like a kid at Christmas as I checked it over, yes it's sad, but I had waited a long time for this.

This was the next step in me trying to forge my career in US realestate, while living in the England, not New England I may add but the real one. :). All this while working on a navy ship in the Caribean six months a year.

The report was good a few issues, a little more than I expected but not things that require immediate attention. Remember I never set foot in the property, so what can you expect?

 I now have a quote for these items and I am again nervously awaiting a roofing quote before I pull the trigger and take the plunge. Long distance investing here I come!

I think the seasoned pros will agree,if a deal excites you like this, you are willing to loose sleep to study and learn.  Then this is not just something you are doing because you want the "guru lifestyle" but this is something you love. If you can maintain this focus and drive you will get as much as you want from Real estate.
