    To be honest, I had no idea you could use Online Quizzes to generate leads. The idea actually came about while listening to one of Michael Opolski’s Podcasts. Michael is a Master of Generating Leads and Attention online. He’s the Mentor who teaches us how to generate leads online at no cost. He stated the fact that, engagement brings leads. 

This is so TRUE.

Engagement is what happens when people’s minds tune into your content online. Often, a key signal of engagement is some form of interaction, like whenever they comment, like, or share your stuff on social media.

I later realized that, if I wanted to succeed at generating leads online, I needed to start creating things that involved engagement. And online quizzes is one of those powerful ways.

It captures their attention. It’s an interactive form of content that engages the viewer by providing direct feedback and results. Interactive content provides a way for individuals to gather their own meaning to what you have produced.

  • According to Buzzsumo, 82 percent of people who see a quiz in their social feed will try it. Why is that? What is it about a quiz that hooks people? I think it’s the desire to know more about themselves.
  • A quiz holds the key to some secret vessel of knowledge about oneself that can be unlocked via interaction. Carefully crafted questions can pull out gems of insight to connect the dots and either challenge, enlighten or confirm presumptions. People’s curiosity keeps them engaged as they answer question after question.
  • And according to Qzzr, they’ve found that around 75 percent of people who start a quiz finish it – and take an average of two minutes 27 seconds to do so. In today’s attention-devoid landscape, that is an eternity for someone to be interacting with your brand on your terms.

Reason # 2. Viral potential
 Since people love to share the results of their quizzes, they have the potential to go viral. The nature of the quiz and it’s results system, encourages users to share the quiz. This creates a domino effect of repeated traffic of interested viewers. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger!

The people that are ready to take your quiz have already pre-qualified themselves as targeted leads by looking at the title of your quiz. The next step is to convert these leads through a lead capture form, and/or a link to your website after someone finishes your quiz.

Embed The Quiz On Your Blog or Website: The quiz offers the benefit that your audience can take the quiz without ever leaving your site. By offering the quiz right where your audience is, you can greatly enhance the number of quiz takers.

Share on Social Media: Incorporate social media into your quiz marketing strategy, and watch your business grow. Facebook is responsible for the largest share of quiz traffic. By optimizing your quiz results, you can create highly share-able rich snippets that can drive traffic back to your site.

There are two different options for sharing quizzes on Facebook that have distinct advantages:

  • On your timeline. Sharing on your Facebook timeline is the easiest option for getting your quiz out there. All you need to do is grab an image (or use one from your quiz) and share it along with a link to take your quiz either on your blog or on a dedicated quiz page.
  • In a custom tab. To use a quiz as a more permanent fixture on your Facebook page, you can embed it into a custom tab. 

On Twitter: The formula for sharing your quiz on Twitter works the same way as sharing on a Facebook timeline, and it’s helpful if you use an image to visually represent your quiz. Share your quiz on Twitter in the middle of a day on a weekday, then share it two more times in the next three days, and don’t share it again.

In conclusion: Online quizzes to generate leads are becoming very popular. and they aren't going anywhere.. The key is to be consistent when sharing your quizzes. It will take a little while to start generating leads, but when you do, it’ll bring great results. Just don’t quit, don’t give up! You WILL start to see success.
