Bittersweet

Today is the day of rest, but its been anything but. I took a trip to see the Chicago property that I sent out the contract for. excitement hung in the air. full of anticipation, and armed with an electric drill and flashlight i ventured inside. It.. was a mess. i couldn't have been more excited. the house had been stripped bare. there were holes and graffiti on the walls, and broken windows hidden behind plywood. empty liquor bottles littered the floor, and in the backyard, for some reason, there was a pile of tires. I'm convinced that this is a perfect property to rehab, the neighborhood is a bit rough closer to the property, but houses that i drove by to get to it were pretty nice.

Mind racing, i immediately started thinking about the next move i am to make. title search, estimation of repairs, then i'll make a report of everything i find and put a bow on it for my end buyer. the obstacle now is the seller. 

The Colorado deal is just as stagnant. Maybe its just Sunday.. still though, i'm working out my next move. Add value to the CO deal, finish the IL deal, and find more for the pipeline.
