From our very first conversation through closing day, Brittany was proactive, responsive, and consistently one step ahead, which made the entire process feel calm and well-managed.
What truly set Brittany apart was her ability to identify potential challenges early and thoughtfully walk us through solutions and outcomes based on her experience—often before we were even aware there was something to consider. Her guidance was clear, measured, and always focused on helping us make confident, informed decisions. She communicated often, explained each step thoroughly, and ensured we always knew what to expect.

Just worked with Brittany on a transaction and I can say, from a lender's perspective, working with a listing agent, communication is key. We ran into an issue at the end and we handled it with grace. I can say that Brittany is a true professional. She stays even keel. She's very transparent and works hard for her client to find a win-win for all parties. Would highly recommend anyone to work with Brittany.

We had an outstanding experience working with Brittany Kuschel and her team. From the very beginning, Brittany was incredibly responsive. She was always willing to hop on a call or arrange showings, even same-day. Before working with Kuschel Realty we interviewed several local realtors but decided Brittany was the right choice for us because of her responsiveness, background in real estate litigation, and history serving the Duluth area.
We also have been impressed by her team. We worked closely with Krysti Gillman, who managed to schedule our inspection on a Saturday afternoon for the very next morning (Super Bowl Sunday) which still amazes us.
Brittany and Krysti apart prioritized our family’s needs and gave us peace of mind that we were buying a solid home. In other homes we were interested in, they found (likely) mold in crawl spaces, foundation issues, and electrical concerns. Brittany attended our inspection and ensured it was thorough and documented for us. They helped us make our offer so competitive offer that the sellers cancelled their open house and accepted ours.
We are extremely impressed with Brittany’s network of professionals. Her recommendations for sewer, roof, and general home inspections were great to work with.
Brittany and Krysti helped us find a wonderful home. On top of everything, she welcomed us so warmly to Duluth. She even helped us find childcare, which meant so much to our family.

Brittany helped us sell my sister's house in Duluth Minnesota and did a TERRIFIC job getting it sold in a months time! There were some complexities around the home, which was in a trust, and Brittany helped us navigate through every step of the way. Ultimately we had TWO offers on the house, and she walked us through the advantages and/or disadvantage of each as we made the decisions. Her promptness, communication style, and sense of urgency are second to none! If you are looking to buy or sell a home in Minnesota, I would highly recommend Kuschel Realty Group for all of your needs. We recently closed on our first investment property in October with the help of my daughter-in-law, Brittany; it was a lake cabin in my neighborhood and she made the process seamless! Honestly, this was terrifying as it was the first time buying a house in my life, and at 70 years old Brittany held my hand through the entire process and explained why things needed to be done. She only advised and encouraged me. When the purchase was finalized, we once again reached out to Brittany for her advice and worked with her on the investment consulting side; she helped optimize my mid-term listing on Furnishedfinder.com and my new short-term vacation listing on Airbnb, which I didn't have a clue on. The process was extremely overwhelming, but with Brittany's assistance and consulting abilities, I have the site up and running and there are numerous bookings! I highly recommend using Brittany for your realty and consulting needs.

I worked with Brittany when looking for my first investment property. I actually found her on BiggerPockets while looking for an investor-minded agent after I saw some of her posts in the forums.
We looked at quite a few properties over the 9 months I was searching. As far as communication goes whenever I had a question, concern, issue or if anything else came up she was always very fast to respond whether by phone call or text. She is very knowledgeable about the Duluth market which was helpful as I was just getting started. She came through with a few references for local lenders when I needed to get a pre-approval on very short-notice and without that I wouldn't have been able to purchase the property I am now living in.
I think the biggest factor of why I worked and continue to work with Brittany is her honesty regarding every property that we walk into and every situation/issue that has come up along the way. She understood what I was looking for in a property and would never try and "sell" me on something. If she didn't/couldn't see value in a property from a buy-and-hold investment standpoint she always told me her concerns. She has advised me in many situations regarding inheriting tenants, legal questions, lease issues, property valuations and the buying process.
I have had and continue to have a great professional relationship with Brittany even after purchasing my home and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to purchase property in and around the Duluth, MN area.

When I started looking for investment properties in the Duluth, I didn’t know much the area. I needed someone with knowledge, experience, candor, connections, and patience to help me navigate the landscape as a new resident of Duluth. Thankfully, I found Brittany; she has all of these characteristics in spades. She completely exceeded my expectations, and made the journey of purchasing my first property a breeze.
Brittany’s success is rooted in a winning strategy of listening to my goals, applying her knowledge of the area and other investors’ strategies, being patient as I learn and refine my scope, and communicating very clearly and honestly about properties and the process of buying. Her background as a transactional and probate paralegal increasingly helped me feel comfortable; I knew process we’re going through was getting done right.
We went through the searching and buying process during the early/mid part of 2020: Covid-19 was an obstacle we had navigate around. Brittany had the flexibility to navigate the change in landscape with ease, and the integrity to do it safely even at a cost to her. When someone in her life was showing symptoms, she preemptively reached out to our team members (including my home inspector) to keep the ball rolling while she managed things remotely. Monetarily speaking, she had every incentive to push through doing thing in person, but her aptly tuned morale compass had her doing things as safely as possible for the betterment of myself, my family, our team, and the community at large. This was one of the many reasons why I’m very impressed with Brittany.
It was easy to tell that Brittany is a force within Duluth area. Most of the folks that I worked with knew of her. Of those that knew her, all spoke very highly of her. I’m happy to be among the many that consider Brittany to be first-rate both in profession and in character.

I have had the privilege to leverage Brittany's expertise in finding rental properties in the Duluth area. From the start she has shown a strong mindset towards servicing real estate investors by finding properties that had strong cash flow potential at competitive prices. She is consistently quick to respond towards questions and inquiries while providing suggestions for properties before they hit the market.
As I invest from afar, her competence and ability to provide photos, repair suggestions, and high level estimates has been great. Additionally, she has provided a great list of preferred lenders and contractors.

Brittany recently helped my wife and I sell a duplex we owned in Duluth. We had some pretty difficult tenants in the property, but she was able to smooth things over with them on multiple occasions (absolutely not part of the job description of a realtor), found us a buyer, and carried us through to the finish line.
She provided great expertise on inspection requirements specific to the city of Duluth, pricing the property properly, and marketing our property across a wide variety of channels. She's data-driven but also focused on building great relationships.
I would highly recommend her to any investor looking to buy or sell a property in the Twin Ports area!
