I absolutely love doing business with this company. Honestly, sometimes I call Clint just to chat and have a good old time. We’ll start talking about business and somehow end up talking about life, random stories, and who knows what else. It’s the kind of conversation where you hang up and realize you forgot why you called in the first place. Clint and his team are just good people. The kind of people you actually enjoy doing business with. Whether he’s calling to book us for a shoot or just to catch up, it’s always a good conversation. They run their company like a real team, they take care of their people, and they treat their partners with respect. That’s rare these days. And if something ever goes sideways, we handle it like adults figure it out, fix it, and move on. No drama, no nonsense… which in business is honestly a little refreshing. We do all the photography for Newton Property Management, and it’s always a great experience. They manage some amazing rentals, the property owners are always kind, and the homes are great to photograph. Plus, let’s be honest… I get to walk through some pretty nice houses for a living, so I’m not complaining. Our experience with Newton Property Management started off well. Initially, we had no issues getting maintenance requests addressed. However, that changed when a mold problem developed in the home. Despite repeatedly reporting the issue, the company failed to properly address it, and the situation worsened to the point that my family had to leave the house for our health and safety. Unfortunately, we ultimately had to involve an attorney because management refused to resolve the problem while continuing to charge us rent or demanding a termination fee. When we moved out, we left the home in excellent condition—cleaner than when we moved in. My husband is a former contractor, and we took the time to repaint areas and thoroughly clean the property to ensure it was spotless. Despite this, the company still deducted $500 from our security deposit for cleaning and painting fees. Based on our experience, it appears that tenants may be charged these fees regardless of the condition in which the home is left. Additionally, one concerning issue was the professionalism at the front desk. On multiple occasions, we overheard Vicki speaking negatively about tenants, which was a red flag regarding the company’s approach to customer service. Overall, what started as a positive experience ended very poorly due to the handling of the mold issue and the way our move-out and deposit were handled.

Moved to Athens for work last year, the best decision I made was renting from this company!!! Everyone is always so helpful and available. Even now I am deciding to move into another one of their properties downsizing and the transition was a breeze!!! If you ever need a place in the North Al area this is the place hands down!!! thank you guys so much

Rented from out-of-state. Mistake. The house we rented is a dump and I can't believe a company would represent this house. Owner refuses to fix disgusting things. Property mgmt does not follow up on repair requests. I have 2 pending for the last month. If I could post pics, I would.

We've been in a Newton Properties home for a year, and are signing a lease for another. My wife and I have been quite satisfied with this company. Every person we've dealt with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We asked if we could move in a day early, and they accommodated us. When we moved in on a weekend, we saw a few issues that needed to be addressed. They were there first thing on Monday. And the service technicians responded the same day whenever we've had issues. My wife and I have both lived in places where the landlords didn't want to talk to us and treated every service request as a severe hardship. We highly recommend Newton Properties.
