Have been clients of this group since it bought out our former accounting partnership. Used them for years. Noticed a decline in service over the past few years, but were appalled that we found ourselves this year scrambling to do our own taxes at 7:00 pm on tax day after having our file, and, ultimately, emails, phone calls, and even Facebook comments ignored. There is no way to get through to this firm when they simply don’t come through. This group just lost a very regular client (8 years? Can’t recall.) We ultimately did our taxes tonight with an online tax program when they could not - or would not - complete it for us at over 30x the cost. When we expressed concern in recent days with the tax deadline nearing, rather than reacting, they turned the blame on us! They claimed we did not respond with our information in a timely fashion. This seems odd as their own portal dates and time stamps all documentation downloads. We provided all information (but one document) within 10 business days of their initial request (by the first two weeks of February). They received the last document on March 4, immediately after we received it from our financial institution. Evidently, unless you can get them your documentation before it is actually prepared by your financial institutions, it will be your fault that your taxes won’t be completed within 2 months. Good luck to those who choose this firm in the future. No experience like it.
