After obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology from Thaddeus Steven’s School of Technology, I have experience in construction from working in the electrical field for over 10 years. Having this knowledge and background in construction will allow me to point out potential issues in homes you may look at. I will be able to give my advice on any electrical issues and an approximate cost for repair items. I provide a full service of real estate needs and can represent first time home buyers or assist in the sale of homes for families who are upsizing or downsizing their current properties. After working a long career in IT in the Corporate and government world I am finally at home in Real Estate. While I have been licensed as a real estate agent since 2009 much of that start was as a referral agent since I worked on and off in IT with contract consulting until late 2019. My interest in real estate goes back to my childhood. Now that IT is done, I am fully engaged in real estate and loving it! My business is part Realtor part Investor. The Realtor side of my business is the typical agent role acting as a seller or buyer’s agent. At times those clients will certainly be investors so there is also an overlap in my work. On the investing side of my business I am hoping to help people find investment properties independently or form partnerships and joint ventures. My interests are the entire scope of real estate including wholesaling, flipping, and buy and hold. Ultimately my goal is to have an inventory of rental properties with enough passive income to retire – If I want to! Since 2020 or so my interest for the commercial side has grown. After listening to many investors in commercial successfully create Storage spaces, RV parks, Mobile home parks, Multifamily 5+ doors, and the short-term rental arena including Airbnb and “travel Nurse” accommodations I am shifting in my thinking. Becoming a private money lender is another area that will be added to the list of things down the road to learn and participate in to help other investors in their projects. Since I started going to local meetups and educating myself a couple years ago, I have found that people sincerely involved in real estate are very sharing and caring of those who want to join in. It is my hopes to start paying it back soon with regular educational meetings and networking sessions. Looking for partners to assist in this quest! With my IT background I have plenty of experiencing with project management and have several certifications. I have plenty of experience in project analysis and status reviews. On the construction side I have lots of experience working on home projects including finishing out the lower level of a split-level home adding 800 finished sq ft, building decks and patios, a carriage house, demo and rehab of a flip home, demo and rehab of the owner’s space in a B&B, landscaping, fencing, etc. Let’s chat online or meet somewhere if you’re local to Central Virginia.
