I was born in Missouri and have lived all over the Midwest. Hi! I'm a military spouse of 24 years, living all over the US and internationally over the course of his career. I actually started out Active Duty in the Coast Guard myself! Semper Paratus! We decided to put roots down here in Oklahoma, since my husband is nearing retirement. I got started in real estate about 4 years ago when we bought waterfront (on Choctawhatchee Bay) raw land in Florida, thinking we would build our 'forever' home there... We ended up renting it out to RV'ers for several years, which was really good income, and no maintenance on our part! We are now looking to build a house on that property to rent out monthly (best case), or shorter term if necessary. It will be targeted towards people remote working ideally. Here in Oklahoma, I've worked with multiple military families moving in, and helping them find a place that they can rent out after they move in a few years (as military families tend to do!) is one of my favorite things to do! I also run Heaven's Best Carpet Cleaning (franchise) in Edmond, Oklahoma, which has been amazing in how much I've learned about running a small business.
