Need Advice- Tenants not paying - Washington State
Hello Everyone,
I have a SFR in WA state with tenants not paying. They had paid through August, but in September stopped and have not paid October either. My understanding is eviction is allowed only if selling in WA. The property is increasing exponentially because of semi rural location outside Seattle, so that is a blessing despite the circumstances.
Would you recommend selling the property at a substantial gain and trying to 1031 or just holding and riding it out with tenants not paying? I am worried WA state will prolog evictions indefinitely.
Any advice links to pertinent info/podcasts are greatly appreciated.
