Separating Tenant Utilities
Hey everyone, beginner investor here in Cranston, Rhode Island. I’m looking to purchase a single family home in Cranston which may eventually be rented out. I was thinking of putting a tiny house in the back and doing a month to month lease since it has a good amount of land. I was wondering what were some favorite methods of separating utilities? I was trying to look into smart water meters but even then you would have to somehow manually input the new amount and request it from the tenant. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
