How Much to Offer for a Short Sale?
I'm looking at a property that has been on the market for quite a while now. In my opinion the main reason that it hasn't sold is because the list price is what move in ready properties are going for in the area, but this home has no electricity because the owner has basically "checked out." As a result, inspections are useless. Now I see the price has dropped a little, and it is being listed as a short sale. Since I would be walking in blind as to what might need repairs, how should I approach the offer? Was at $137,900...now at $129,900
