Should I order an inspection.
We are looking to close on a deal that has taken a total of about 11 months to get approved. When we walked the property we came out with about $5,000 or so or of repairs needed on this property for various items such as : stairs to top unit (it's a triplex), roof repair, carpet repair one unit, slight water damage in the a/c vent from the swamp cooler. All the numbers still work out fine when we take this into consideration. My question is: Now that we are at the closing table or close to it. Should we still order an inspection through our realtor or should we just walk the property again with a contractor? Any advice is appreciated.
