Putting an offer for a short sale property, negotiator fees
Hey BP community,
We recently looking into getting a short sale property in oregon. The numbers came out decent when the finances calculated but we're really getting it for the future potential of the property in that area. Is there anything we should be weary of or look out for? We have never gotten a short sale property for investing. The company the seller is working for called the "negotiator" states we have to sign a contract stating we will have to pay 4000 dollars for the negotiation fee which is 7.5% of the deficiency owed aside for realtor cost/closing cost ect. Any advice?
