@Amy Firmin right - I meant what topic / what questions do you have? For example, do you already own rentals and have tax questions? Or are you looking to get started investing?
my apologies :(.I have flipped homes and had rentals in the past but I know I was not managing my business to its full potential. Basically seeking someone that can help me with a business plan and guide me to make wise advantages of arising opportunities.

You don't need to be invited, they're typically open to anyone. I would just do a search - BP, FB, Meetup, Google - within a 1-2 hour radius and see if you can find any.
Awesome! Thanks so much for the info

@Amy Firmin agree with above, talk with other investors. 90% or more of all Financial Advisors will be product driven, stocks, bonds, funds, etc. They usually only get paid based on assets they manage. They won't manage real estate thus they won't want to spend time talking with you.
Then find a Tax accountant who handles Real Estate also to a large degree. Ask the RE investors you meet to recommend Tax Accountants, Attorneys, Contractors, banks, etc.
Go Tigers.
Post a picture of Red Beans and Rice. Went to dinner last night and they brought Pinto beans on rice as their Red beans.
Thanks so much Henry! I found a group near me and will meet with them next week. I am so excited.
Lol well I am from the south but don't cook as such :(
That's hilarious tho!!

You can do one of two things
Gather up your goals and get an accountability partner. Someone who will make sure you are on track to hit your goals.
Hire a business coach.
I am not sure a financial advisor will help you in this case.
best of luck
