I have an idea of how I want to set up my company for the future and want to run it by the BP community for feedback, I currently have an LLC in the form of a remodeling business that is supplying much of the capital for my real estate investing activities. what I am thinking of doing is starting a C corporation and having that own the LLC, running all the income/ expenses thru the corporation and paying myself from the corporation. Basically making the remodeling company an income stream to the corporation. I am looking at this as a growth strategy for the future that I can add income streams to the corporation by adding or acquiring real estate and businesses. I would appreciate any input you all may have. This is just preliminary research and I will be seeking legal and accounting help if I decide to go this route.
