@Sory Kaba, if you want assistance people need a lot more detail to suggest anything useful?
What kind of hole? How big? What was it caused by?
What kind of heat? For example: natural gas hot water baseboard... What is the problem with the heating system? Or what do you see with the system failing?

Are you a tenant? Landlord? IS this in an apartment or a single-family home? You really need to give us some details so we can help you.
If you are the Landlord, call an HVAC specialist to repair the furnace. If you are a Tenant, report it to the Landlord and demand they repair it immediately or threaten to report them to the building inspector, HUD, or whomever will listen.
That wall is lath and plaster. Not the easiest thing to fix, but not impossible. If you are a Tenant, try to cover it with something that prevents heat from escaping. Easiest solution may be to place a towel or blanket over the hole and hold it in place with a box or piece of furniture.
If you are the Landlord, you need to learn how to repair it or hire a pro:
I'm sorry for the lack of information I just didn't know exactly what to say. I'm a first-time homeowner and just bought my residential property last year and it is a single-family dwelling. I don't have an HVAC specialist. I had someone come out and look at the furnace this morning and I will update you guys on what they said once I get the report back from them. I was originally thinking of sealing the whole plaster or cement-like mixture but wasn't too sure about the idea.

Make 2 calls = 1) AN HVAC Contractor. 2) A Drywall Contractor.
Done.
