Octavio Sanchez
Posted

Hi everybody this is my first post and I'm very interested in buying foreclosure homes in Arizona but I don't know where to really start or what websites to use and all that stuff so if anyone could be kind enough and give me a rundown on what I should know it would be very much appreciated

Hey Octavio,

It is intimidating being a beginner in the real estate world, my advice would be to do your research and find what works best for you. I'd suggest doing a house hack or using the BRRRR method. You could also work with a broker and give them specifications on what you want and have them look for you, they will also be able to assist you on your real estate journey.

I suggest brainstorming your goals and clearly defining what attributes you are looking for in each property.

Find an investor-friendly agent in your area — some RE pros specialize in foreclosure, so if after research you're confident that that's the way you want to go, I would find one who can work with you and help guide and represent you in your next transaction.

Second this. Find a solid house hack. Find an agent on here that has experience doing something similar in your market and take it from there.

Hey @Octavio Sanchez

As mentioned, getting started can be overwhelming so definitely take your time to research and determine your real estate goals. House Hacking is a great start, but I would suggest you set up a few meetings with local agents and brokerages that are investor-friendly to help you determine which areas in your market are best.
