Finding hard money/private investors

Hey everyone,

After finding the podcasts and learning the power of real estate I have focused the last year on buy and hold real estate in my province. Seeing a lot of potential to get into multi family properties in the city I live using the BRRRR strategy. I have everything in place to move forward with buying properties except hard money lenders! When I first started the process I had several individuals interested but as things started getting real, they have slowly changed their mind on investing. I'm wondering if anyone else has any idea on how to find hard money? I have tried using the internet, my social media, my friends/family, and talking to everyone I meet but haven't made much progress! I am in Canada so I'm not sure if that makes a difference for investors from USA! Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Josh
