What to look for in a broker?

 If you're just starting out, I highly suggest focusing on who will give you the best training, mentorship, etc.

Once you are done sucking all the training and knowledge you possibly can out of them, THEN go look for a better broker split. 

Basically, the less support you need, the more advantageous the monetary split should be for you. If you're just getting started, you likely need a LOT of support.
