What are your favorite book(s) that you can credit to your real estate investing career?

I constantly tell people about this but nobody pays attention. In 1994, Michigan handyman landlord and flipper Lawrence Dworin wrote Profits in Buying and Renovating Homes. This was followed up by 1996's Renovating and Restyling Older Homes. To the best of my knowledge, this was the first and last time someone wrote actual books on how to make money in DIY landlording and renovation. The first book is significantly better than the second.

@Jim K. I have read the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles about 10 times or more. It's the book that inspired all the other books that inspired all the next generation of books.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I already owned my first rental when I read it, but we bought the house that was next to us mostly with the intention of controlling who our neighbors were. After reading that book though, I was hooked on investing.
