Hi Everyone,

Thanks for reading this post! My wife and I are looking to begin our investing journey. We are wanting to begin with either SFH or duplex in the Metro Atlanta area. Before getting single I had a owner-occupied duplex in Tacoma, wa and made a nice penny when I transitioned from the military

It worked out well then so we want to plan this out and make a real go of it. My wife is a realtor and absolutely crushes the buyer side but hasn't spent much on the investment side of the house. We could use some guidance in a couple of ways.

1. Would love to meet up with some other investors to learn more about investing overall and hopefully find a mentor who wouldnt mind sitting down for a beer or coffee.

2. A better understanding of where we should focus our efforts on in terms of location.

I recommend that you join one of the local real estate investors associations for networking and education. Check out the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association. They have many monthly educational meetings for different real estate investing strategies.
