My partner and I are looking into business credit cards for small repairs as well as some other low dollar costs. What are some cards/perks/rates to look for?
The idea behind this is to:
1. Build up credit to eventually get a line of credit
2. Float the first few months of payments incase a repair bill comes up before we have reserves built.
I realized after finishing my bookkeeping for the year that I spent way more than I expected at one of the chain home improvement stores... I plan on signing up for one of their credit cards. In general any card that gives you some cash back would be good.
If your goal is to build trust with a lender then I recommend opening up a credit card with a small local bank.
