Question on a HUD offer
I submitted a bid on a HUD townhouse asking price $78K. My offer, substantially lower at $55K was rejected. No other offers have been submitted. I found another townhouse within the same development, same sq footage, privately owned, at an asking price of $55K, thus part of the reason for my low offer. I asked my HUD broker if there was any way should could enlighten HUD that their asking price was too high and my reason. Her response was they are the government and you can't tell the government what to do - they don't listen. Any suggestions????
