CA Tax Auction and HOA Fees.

Hi All,

I am new to investing and am interested in a property in a county tax auction in CA but the property has a $15,000 HOA lien from 2012 and an additional $10,000 in fees that have built up since then. Please correct me if I am wrong, but from my research I believe the tax lien will drop from the title after the tax auction. But I am not sure about the additional balance that has not been included in the lien. Will I be responsible for these dues if I purchase the property?
