Foreclosure bidding war
Am I being scammed? I have put in 4 offers on a HomePath owned home. This home according to the realtor had been shown in 4 months. The first 3 were below asking and countered with full price. I gave in and offered full price. The next day I was told someone else bid on the property and want our best and highest bid. I bid $2000 higher and took financing and the inspection off the contingencies. It’s not a deal breaker for me but had anyone else experienced anything like this? Is this normal?
