Does your Realtor provide you with the expertise you deserve?
If you know more than they do, why are you using them? Is it because you like and trust them? Don't you think you deserve more? Would you be better off if you were confident they had the knowledge and expertise you deserve?
What about if :
-They are residential investment specialists with knowledge, training, and expertise other agents do not.
-They see themselves as wealth advisors, mentors, coaches, and consultants.
-They see opportunities others don't see. They have the 'Eagle Eye."
-They are the fastest path to help you accomplish your wealth and retirement objectives.
-They can suggest ways to improve property values.
-They can discuss the different investment options and the advantages/disadvantages of each.
-They have enough of an understanding of tax benefits.
-They know how to analyze a property.
-They have enough of an understanding of 1031 exchanges and IRAs etc.
-They know how to search the MLS for deals in addition to deals even before they are listed.
-They can help create a business plan to accomplish wealth, retirement income, and financial freedom. (The big why)
-They have established relationships with local banks, contractors, attorneys, accountants, and others.
-Not all Realtors have the same expertise, just as doctors have different specializations. Don't settle, you are making the biggest financial investment, and you should have confidence that they will always have your back.
Good points
Its also important to ask if they invest in real estate, I was an investor 1st and became an agent as I love the deals but cant buy them all. Why take advise from someone that does not believe in it enough to buy it themselves.
