am i the only one here that enjoys the satisfaction of receiving votes??? josh, i think this forum is awesome, as i have told you before..one of the great features is on our profiles, people can see what we've been voting up...would it be possible to someday show who has voted us up, or what we said that was voted up, just like what we have now, except the opposite? anyone else like the idea?

When you see a post with votes, just click on the question mark to the left of the number of votes and the voters will be displayed.

Pick any of your posts that have received votes, then press the '?' button that is next to the '+' button and the vote count. Lo and behold, you'll see the people who voted for your post. And if you hover over the '+', you can also see the voter names (although some browsers might not fully support that). I see that Gregory Rankel has voted for your OP here.

yes guys, i see that...actually i think steve taught me that a few months back...anyways, i meant on your profile..for instance, i'm looking at someone's profile to see info on them and see if they're reputable....well, they could vote for many things, and i will see that, but on their profile, i dont know how many of our peers vote them up...so i think it would be a neat feature on the profile, if you could see that you've been voted up, or who has voted you up, or the content that you posted which was voted up..i'm not a tech savvy guy, and maybe it would be a pita, but it was my creative idea for the day..do yall see what i was getting at now?

When you go to an individual's profile you can see there voting activity in the lower right hand corner. The stats page can also give you some useful information as well and this found at the bottom of each page.

I don't know of any tool here that counts all of the votes an individual receives or otherwise breaks out the influence points. Might be an interesting feature.

Bryan, that would be a great feature to have. I know that Josh is working on some updates maybe we will see something like this later.

I would love to have that feature too. It is nice to see who has voted for your post(s) and which ones they were.

Sounds like a good idea to me. And I just voted for your original post, Bryan. :)

Yes good idea indeed. Even just a votes recvd counter on the profile at first would be nice.

Yeah...recent voting on your profile would be a good implementation...similar to the current panel for your recent voting history.

This thread is about 12 years old. I do not see the functions. How does someone check the status as of today?
