Adding a Colleague via email search

Unless this feature is already available, I want to suggest that there should be an ability to add a colleague by searching for his/her email address.

For example, if you meet other BP members at an REIA and exchange emails.. you should be able to search for them on BP and send a colleague request (similar to facebook).

I know there is a feature to invite them: http://www.biggerpockets.com/invites/new

But this is not the same.
