Closing on divorce house..then Corona Virus
I'm on the last leg of closing on a divorce house.... inspection, appraisal and loan done. Mr and Mrs are not amicable. Mr, who does not live in the house anymore wants to sell; Mrs who stays in the house, wants to extend closing date (we already have agreed to 2 months as part of the contract, and now she's asking for more extension), and is saying she will stay past the agreed closing date. She's a nurse and is invoking corona virus card.... What should I do????
Pros: just want to get this deal done because we were so close, and this would get me to check a goal that i've set....plus, i like the house, and it seems like a good deal.
Cons: hassle.... don't want to deal with evicting someone at this time..
