Is Investing in Mobile Homes a Good Idea?

Posted Apr 18 2023, 12:56

Hi, I was wondering if investing in Manufactured Homes was a good investment? Not sure if it would be, with the added land lease cost, that the tenant will have to pay, on top of their monthly rent.

Please advise.

Thank you!

Stef

@Stephanie Blockton It depends on your experience and exit strategy. There are those who have tried investing in mobile homes with success while others have not. Personally, I've been in the mobile home investing business for quite some time (since 2007). It's had its ups and downs. Overall, it's been profitable.

Investing in mobile homes is definitely a niche. If you can take the time to learn the niche and network effectively, it can definitely pay off.

Feel free to DM if you have any questions. Hope that helps!
