Buying Foreclosure Properties

How is buying a property that is about to go into Foreclosure, or is already in Foreclosure, different from a property that is not in the Foreclosure process? Also, what does an investor need to look out for or take into consideration when investing in this area of the market?

Thanks!

Tom

so the preforeclosure went delinquent at some point and missed some payments.......so the #1 thing you need to consider is how much the person owes in order to catch them up......including any penalties and interest.....

Depends at what stage the process is, the property is fair game up until the county auctions it off the first Tuesday of every month (Texas)
