I recently found a great deal on a condo which is scheduled to go to auction.
Do I need cash to purchase it or just an approval letter/amount from my lender to start the process going?
Most auctions are cash at time of sale if it is a trustee auction (courthouse steps). If you are buying one on a auction sites... sometimes they allow for a finance contingency. You should check the auction disclosure documents to see if they are allowing in on this particular auction.
