I guess that depends on what you are investing in. Long, mid, short term, single family, small/large multi-family?

Gastonia & Kannapolis, NC, are some of the most reasonably priced areas in the Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia RE Market.

Raleigh is a fantastic area. I own properties in raleigh and wake forest. I also help people flip in the area being a GC.
The big hurdles would be price but if you can stay under 500k you won’t have issues selling if you provide a good product

Haha np, I'm currently looking to do a "live in flip" but after turn it into an Airbnb in and around downtown Wilmington. The numbers are working for me there and I'm currently putting on offers, no bites yet though.
I may be biased since I live here.. but I also live here in Wilmington on purpose since it's what I believe is the best market in NC! I am an agent here and flipping myself. Feel free to shoot me a message and I'm happy to go over a few deals I've done or help others do.
