Philadelphia - recommendations for inspector, property management companies, and contractors
Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of buying my first multi-unit (2-3 units) in Philadelphia.
I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good inspector as well as contractors (for repairs in the rental units) and property management companies. I am mainly looking at properties in West Philadelphia (19143, 19139).

Did you find a property management company? I am in the Philadelphia area and I have experience in property management, leasing and other landlord/tenant questions. I can give you some pointers if you want to do it yourself instead of hiring a company. Let us know how it worked out for you.
And I know a ton of contractors as well. Tell us what you need!
how can one make sure the seller fixed all the issues raised by the inspector?
this is a great thread for the Philly contingency. @amorette are you part of a prop mgr or are you an individual who manages properties?
I'm looking to get a pm lined up before I jump in. I plan to have at least 5-10 properties in the next 3 yrs. Thanks
