The SFR that I am under contract for had taken down the realtor yard sign when we signed the contract, but then I drove by this this week and they had put it back out. It does not indicate that its under contract as they do sometimes, it is not listed on the MLS or the company website and there have not been any issues moving forward.
I am probably overthinking it, but wondering if anyone else experienced a similiar situation and should I have concern?
Are you a homebuyer or investor paying cash?? If not you are using some form of financing.
The listing broker can spin this a couple of ways. They can tell the sellers that they want to leave the sign up to get more buyers lined up if you drop the ball and can't close. Even if you do not drop the ball the listing broker also is taking buyer calls to build a database to sell their other listings or work with an unrepresented buyer who called on the sign to find something else for them.
