I am looking for houses in my area, and was sent a list by someone. She charges a $1000 referral fee to the buyer per purchase. I personally don't have a problem paying that, but I of course factor it into my acquisition costs of the property. Is this pretty standard? She basically has a list of seller financed properties that aren't listed on any other service, so I really only have access to them because of her.
That's reasonable assuming you close on the property.
