As an investor I am looking to investing in Boca Raton, Coral Gables and Coconut Grove for long term investment purposes. Any thoughts or suggestions on which of the above places to concentrate on in terms of rentability, ROI etc... Also any thoughts for single-family/ multi-unit houses?
Those three areas will be priced for appreciation, and the typical "cash flows" from rentals won't be there. You're looking at less than 1%/mo. in rental income.
