Registering a Trade Name for a Sole Proprietor
I have a single rental property that I just started renting. I'm running my rental business as a sole proprietorship. However, I'm also an artist and run my art business as a sole proprietorship under my name. Do I need to register a trade name for the rental sole proprietorship with the state to help keep the businesses separate?
