I’ve found a property that I am interested in buying and I am trying to find contact information of the owner. I looked at the tax records and the deed and it has the individuals name and an old address. I searched the individuals name in the public records database and found other properties owned by this individual, but no contact information is provided on any of the deeds. I then paid a company for any personal contact info (it was a $1 so I figured why not) and got two outdated phone numbers. No one currently lives in the property and it’s been a rental for years according to the documents that I found. Short of knocking on other doors in the area hoping maybe someone knows the owner, I’m at a loss. Does anyone have any recommendations on other avenues to try? This property is located in Phoenix Arizona if that helps at all.
Thanks for all the help
It should have a mailing address for tax documents and other things that tenants would not receive for the owner. Sending a handwritten letter to that address might do the trick
@Jay Gousman , you're saying the mailing address on the Maricopa County Assessor's website is outdated? If you're at the parcel number on the website (say for example, https://mcassessor.maricopa.gov/mcs.php?q=163-03-0...), click on View/Pay Tax Bill. This will take you to the Treasurer's website. That mailing address should be up to date, otherwise they wouldn't be receiving their property tax bill.
Curious, is the company you paid the $1 to Spokeo? I've found phone numbers and email using them in the past. Property Radar will also often have a phone number for the owners of a property.
