Question to Real Estate Buyers

Hi- I'm pursuing my real estate license in Rhode Island and had a question for those who are buyers of real estate or anyone who's experienced in real estate. Since this is a new venture and career path for me I was wondering if any insights can be giving in terms of how buyers go about picking their real estate agent or what avenues would you recommend for an agent to reach out to you in order to be a potential client or do you reach out to the agents yourself. This is new and I would like to hit the ground running so all advice will be well appreciated.

Best-

@Sadiq Davies Your question seems pretty vauge, so here are some general tips.

Always care more about the people than the commission.

You're in the SERVICE industry so give your buyers your full attention and focus on their needs and how best to help them.  If you go above and beyond to serve people and do an incredible job, they will want to refer you.

Focus on your sphere of influence and those closest to you and their friends, etc. This is probably where most of your buyer leads will come from. Let everyone know that you sell real estate and are looking for buyers/sellers in your area.  Follow up consistantly with everyone.

Partner with other agents in your brokerage, I got a couple of my first deals as an agent by working and partnering with other agents.

That's a couple ideas for how to find buyers. I suggest looking for listings more so than buyers though, there's a lot more ways to try to get listings in my opinion.

Good luck!
