I own a residential lot in CT. 3 acre lot ready to build. The lot was purchased before the real estate bubble burst at 96k. Now worth approximately 40k. There have been no raw land sales in town in 7 years but new and existing homes have sold. Located 45 min out of Hartford CT. in small farming and residential community. Have been unable to sell through local agents. Not looking to build or keep the property. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have no professional experience in RE.
Start calling builders and advertising the lot. Know the access to utilities, size of home for the lot, and value of new construction in the area. Try not to sound desperate and work together to close the deal. See how you can make their numbers work.
