Would those who have experience buying at tax lien auctions recommend this strategy as a viable option for a new investor or is this considered a lane for seasoned RE investors only?
Appreciate the advice!
@Michael Bonanno with tax liens 9 times out of 10 you will just make the interest on the lien and won't get the property, the problem with this is when you do get the property it is generally worth less than the lien otherwise the person who owed the money would have paid it. You might be better off with note investing where the quality of the property tends to be higher. It is also difficult to find liens on things besides vacant land and run down properties in the middle of nowhere and when you do they get bid up quite a bit
@Aaron K. Thank you!
