SFR on Golf Course with Membership cost

Has anyone invested in a SFR on a golf course that had a 1 time buy-in and annual membership dues? With the increased rental revenue what are the thoughts on offsetting the buy-in and annual dues?

Hi frank, I own a townhome, not a SFR, on on a golf course in north Myrtle beach. We bought it with the premise that we would rent it (LT) for a few years then move in in retirement. I also have a golf membership which is now just a social membership o keep it in good standing.

It’s been a solid long term rental but we barely break even.  We couldn’t find a golfer that wanted the home with a membership.  Purely as an investment, we would choose other areas.
