Equity from existing property for development
I'm looking to do a knock down a property I own and buy next door to building a 24 unit apartment building in Brooklyn. Will commercial lender allow me to use the equity from the 2 buildings towards my down payment. I know most traditional lenders want 20-25% equity in the deal.
