County Auction Case Cancelled

Hi,

I'm looking on my county foreclosure sale website and I see quite a few cases that are cancelled. Can you give me some possible reasons as to why they would be cancelled. I was thinking someone saw the property went to the owner and bought the property for the judgement price. Therefore the bank is paid before actual foreclosure sale date and the county cancelled the case. Are there other possibilities?
