Single mom of 3 looking into purchasing a new build duplex to live on one side and rent the other. First time home buyer and at the moment little to no money down as of this moment in the research. What grants, loans, available resources are there for those that are attempting to start completely over with Nothing? Located in Ohio. I don’t have any family to ask for help with down payment. How do I prepare myself to speak with a lender documenting I will have a source of income from the other half of the duplex without it actually existing yet? Thanks in advance!
