Is anyone knows a great Syndication training program?

I am looking for multi-family syndication program as an investor and a great network to learn the process and learn analyzing "the good" case.

@Fata Pez

The family office group provides some good content. Also a 506b Facebook group as well.

This is based on assumption you have done a good amount of real estate deals - as syndications add several additional layers of complexity.

Left field investors is another forum with many LPs discussing syndication deals.

Tribe of Titans. first month is free, then its $40/month. you can try it out for a month free and see if you like it. there's an included 'course' teaching you basically everything you want to know.

Yes definitely would recommend Tribe of Titans, Brian Briscoe has a lot of relevant experience, great value for the money, Full disclosure: I do teach a portion of the course on fund of funds models and also customizable funds a completely new type of fund that combines the best features of syndications and funds.

If you haven't, I recommend starting with some reading/e-book listening to Best Ever Apartment Syndication Book by Joe Fairless and Raising Private Capital: Building Your Real Estate Empire Using Other People's Money by Matt Faircloth.

Both have provided a lot of initial insight and value I've put together a business plan and started developing a team for this. If you're past this stage but haven't read either or both of them, still great value to add to the list of research you've done.

Best of luck!

I would start with reading The Hand's Off Investor by @Brian Burke.  By far the best introduction to real estate syndication investing - but it also has a lot of technical information and is a huge help in learning how to screen sponsors and analyze deals.  There are also plenty of podcast to listen to.

Next I would join a Community - many are mentioned in the posts above.  Having a network and Community is more important in syndication investing than most forms of investing because it is not a common way to invest.  It's not like a 401k or the stock market where you can talk to family or friends.  Most of them will run for the hills when you mention "alternative" investments or syndications - they don't understand it and that makes it scary.  Also, there are very long-term illiquid investments that are completely out of your control - it is critical that you invest with quality sponsors.  These quality sponsors are very hard to find and even harder to confirm that they are great operators - the best way to find and qualify these operators is to use the power of your Community.  Trust transfers - if several people in your Community have invested with a sponsor and have had success and they share that with you - you have a huge advantage in your search for sponsors.

Hi @Fata Pez. I would recommend reading The Hands-Off Investor by Brian Burke, as mentioned above. This is a great book and resource when entering into the commercial real estate market. I would also recommend trying to connect with a network that has a lot of knowledge and experience. BiggerPockets is a great start as there are a lot of great folks on here who can help you learn and expand your knowledge. Finally, if you have the time and money, I would recommend getting a mentor to help guide you. If you want a recommendation, feel free to PM me and I will be happy to share some potential connections with you. Good luck!

@Fata Pez

Highly recommend Tim Bratz's Legacy Mastermind Group.

I recently joined and have been able to network and learn like never before.

@Fata Pez

I'm in the Multifamily bootcamp, absolutely worth the money. You also get a year free Pro membership. One of the instructors also has a excellent book on raising private capital, and no I'm not getting a kick back.

Try Reading Best Ever Apartment Syndication Book by Joe Fairless.
I believe he has other books that go with the series.

I will be reading it next but @Aaryan Patel  can you a review.

Hope it helps!

Yes, definitely read Joe’s book on at syndications. He goes in depth on everything to do with syndications, and probably the best book at least that I know of about syndications. You will learn how to find investors, start your brand, how to communicate with investors, how to find/underwrite/negotiate/close on deals, and more!

Underwriting is key in syndication!  No matter what your role in a syndicated deal is, having a thorough understanding of the numbers will go a long way.

Hi Fata:

you got some great advice above. It’s been a while, so can you give the group an update on what you have found and decided?
