Hi All

I'm 32 years old and self manage 400+ units, of a portfolio $100M+. I took over our family business when I was 22. My parents are retired but I want to find other ways to grow, and I've been researching real estate funds startups and syndication.

Can someone help on teaching me this? I really want to grow and could really use a mentor for this. I've been looking at some companies but they charge about $20K.

Happy to chat about syndications, we have done half dozen of them. The key with syndications is ability to raise capital. If you can raise capital then its about structuring the deal so its a win-win for both you and the investors.

Syndication can be great way to scale by leveraging OPM.

With your experience in RE already the transition into syndication would be very feasible.

Hey Ajay, I'm a broker and investor up here in Sacramento - we manage over 100 STR properties and I'm really into adaptive reuse investment right now...

What you're describing falls under SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) exemption codes 506(b) and 506(c), referring to private syndications and/or public syndications.

You basically just have to "know" the investors before presenting them with the investment, and you have to ensure that everyone involved is either a Qualified or Accredited investor.

How much development experience do you have?
