I am looking to fund a small multi-family project in the very near future.  I wish to get my financing in order before property identification.  Does anyone have any PERSONAL  experiences with portfolio lenders.  Companies that I have considered are Velocity Mortgage, Lending One, etc.  They offer 30 yr mortgages and have decent rates.  However, I would feel more confident if I could hear from those that have used them or any other GREAT lender suggested.  Please NO replies from representatives of the companies.  I want to hear investor experiences only (good or bad).
