Hello Fellows, I am doing a package deal with Seller. Pre-condition of the deal is to include empty 25,000 sq ft medical commercial building in medical complex. This building can be easily retrofitted into assisted living center.
Any suggestion on how can I make this empty medical commercial building sale a non taxable event for seller ?
@Gary B. you need to speak with a tax attorney or accountant on that one. Aside from an installment sale, long term master lease or 1031 options will be limited.
@Gary B. could you have two different contracts and pay $1 for the empty building?
